Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown

My wife and I were on our third night in town and had to find a new place to stay after a disappointing Airbnb experience nearby. We decided to walk across the alley to this hotel, and honestly, it was the best decision we could have made. We were greeted by Kevin, who is an absolutely wonderful host. He took the time to listen to everything we’d been through and genuinely helped us find a great room at a great rate. Beyond that, watching how Kevin interacts with his coworkers says a lot. He feels like the glue that holds the place together. He creates a fun, family-oriented, and welcoming atmosphere that you can feel right away. Kevin also gave us great recommendations on things to do and places to check out in the area, which made our stay even better. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the customer service. The room was super clean, the location is great, the hotel was quiet, and the shower was nice and warm. Exactly what we needed. We’re so glad we stayed here and would absolutely recommend it.

Location is really nice except it is next-door to a club and the "base" about vibrated us out of bed! The 8-up restaurant is fair at best. The first night the bar screwed up mixed drinks, which they remade gratis. Very close to the Louisville Palace, just don't plan on getting much sleep.

Parking and elevator is a little jankie and scary but the rooms are great, nice, clean and comfortable. The entrance is a little bit of a weird set up but once you find it the hotel lobby is beautiful.

What began as a planned three-night stay turned into a week due to a family emergency, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me each time I returned to request a room. From the moment I arrived, check-in was seamless thanks to Kat and Kevin, who were both genuinely pleasant and welcoming. The valet team was equally impressive—quick, courteous, and always ready to assist without delay. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, 8-Up. Though the menu was limited, every dish was outstanding. The brick-fired pizza was flavorful and crisp, and the smash burger topped with French fried onions was a standout. Honestly, I’d return just for the food—even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with a mini bar, a couple of bottles of water, a Keurig, and a nice selection of teas and coffee. Mornings were made easier with a breakfast buffet and complimentary fresh coffee available for guests. This hotel provided not just a place to rest, but a sense of care and hospitality that made a challenging week a little easier. I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Louisville to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and delicious dining.

Front Desk staff was very professional. Kevin was very informative about restaurants in the area within walking distance. The Louisville Palace Theater was right next door, so it was convenient to our concert we attended. The rooms were clean and stocked.

Hotel was modern with lovely rooms. Food options limited as we was late, bar and grill next door was full of people, very loud and part was through a quiz night. Decided to find somewhere else to eat locally. Did eat at the hotel on other nights, food was very good.

The best thing about this place is it's friendly staff and it's location! Only a block away from The Seelbach Hotel and 4th Street Live, it is conveniently located. The rooms were good. My only complaint was that the bathtubs didn't drain very well and for some reason we had fruit flies in our room despite not having anything to attract them. But on the whole I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again! Ask for Dina! She was amazing!

The Hilton Garden Inn is very convenient to countless venues, restaurants, and shops. The hotel is very easy to get into and out of. Every staff member I encountered was very kind and courteous, and very helpful for anything I needed. The room was very well furnished and has every modern amenity you could want.
